Mythology Reading Options: Part A

Unit Nigeria caught my attention because I just completed my capstone over countries in Africa and Nigeria was one of them. The story that particularly intrigued me is The Fish and the Leopard's Wife. I think it is funny how the fish is a great friend of the leopard. Considering how today, a cat/leopard is known to kill fish. Maybe this story will give me the inside scoop on why cats/leopard's have a like to kill fish! 


Unit : Bible women caught my attention because it is familiar to me. I grew up in a christian house-hold. So, some of these stories are familiar to me. The story that I find interesting the most is the story of Sarah. I think it is mind-blowing that Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born unto him. Considering what I know about human anatomy, that is quite impressive. 


Unit : Egyptian Myths seems interesting to me because in the Overview, it mentions we will read about the story of the world's creation. As mentioned above, I grew up believing the word was created as christianity says it was created. I am interested to see what this story tells about the worlds creations.

Demon or My Child : Week 3 Story

I can remember like yesterday, it was the happiest day of my husband and I lives. We had our first child March 13th, 2002. Her name is Mahleeyha Calvert. As a baby she was the sweetest. I can remember every morning I would walk into her room and she would have the biggest smile on her face holding onto the side of her crib waiting for me. I swear he smile was brighter than the sun shinning on California. I treasure those days because recently she's been acting like a completely different child. It scares me. It is almost like something has possessed her. I came home after work as usual and I could hear a weird tapping noise and a random scream.
